Job Alerts overview
Ours Alerts are intuitive and unique. Our just know and they work with you. That’s why we call ours ‘Job Alerts.’
Job Alerts are designed to take the hard work out of your search. We do not believe in sending you an email with large volumes of jobs that do not match your exact criteria. It wastes your time.
Our intuitive job feed keeps track of when you last visited our site and lets you know how many unique new jobs have come to the market since you were last there.
You do not need to have access to your email. You can be checking this from your Palm, an internet café or just about anywhere in the world. You will no longer need to check a multitude of emails and stick them together should you be out of town or out of touch for a few days.
We recommend that you set one ‘Primary Feed’ that covers the broader range of what you are looking for. Whilst doing this, you will however, need to consider some of the additional search criteria that we have available to you. These include industry, postcode, salary and tags.
Once you have set up your primary feed, we recommend that you set up a range of other feeds that might be considered more specialised. You can establish up to 10 feeds. For example:
- Dream job
- Change industry
- Change state
- Go part-time
- Get better salary
- Get my life back
As you can see, the options are endless.
Whilst the feed is intuitive and takes effect when you login to the website, you can still set reminder emails so that you don't have to check the site regularly if this does not suit you.
This email will contain nothing more than a link and can be tailored to your demands. For example, it can be set daily, weekly, monthly, every ‘x’ days, every Wednesday, etc. The options for you are endless and are yours to choose.
Reminder emails willl simply prompt you regularly on activity matching your feed.
Changing My Job Alerts
You can change your feeds at any time by going into My Broadcast and updating ‘My Job Alerts’.
Receiving My Job Alerts
You can come to the site at any time and look at your feeds. They are not dependant on your email.
