An established mining consultancy is looking for a Senior Mining Engineer to step into a key role within their Brisbane office.

With multiple projects, both international and domestic, you will have the ability to work on varied major mining projects within a team of dedicated professionals.

Reporting to the Principal Mining Consultant your responsibilities may include the following:

• Pit optimisation
• Development and documentation of planning procedures
• Long and short term scheduling
• Cost monitoring and continuous improvement project evaluation
• Technical support

To be considered for this role you will need to be degree qualified, have 5+ years experience in open pit, coal mine planning. You will also need to have strong communication and technical skills.

Salary depends on experience, but will be in the region of $130 - 150K + benefits. Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
