One of the worlds most successful mining company\'s is in the search for an Open Pit Mine Surveyor to step into the technical services department in one of their open pit Queensland mines.

This role offers you the ability be based in either Brisbane or Townsville on a FIFO 8/6 roster. You will be reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, and your responsibilities will be:

• Set-outs of drill and blast patterns
• Set-out pegs for excavation and waste dump limits
• Survey of mine excavations
• Monitoring infrastructure and ground movement

To be successful in this role you will need tertiary qualifications in Surveying and you will preferably have experience in open cut mining operations using GPS and Robotic Total Station Survey equipment as well as Surpac software.

Salary depends on experience, but will be in the region of $100K - 120K + benefits. Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
