Our client is an industry leader in providing Engineering and Construction services to a range of industries In Australia. With the growth in size and complexity of resource projects, our client has the skills, experience and resources to ensure they are always staying ahead of their competitors in providing comprehensive services. They urgently require the services of a Senior Planner/Scheduler with experience in project planning, scheduling and executing shutdown work on site. Position Accountabilities (but not limited to): * Setting up multi-level schedules used for Project, Studies and Bids. * Updating of schedules and reporting progress against baseline. * Resource allocation and reporting of utilisation against baseline. * Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly report input as required. * Generation of S-Curves, Productivity assessment and progress monitoring. * Provide input to and incorporation of scope changes and trends into the schedule. The successful candidate MUST have: * Min 3-5 yrs project planning/scheduling experience within an EPCM environment. * Demonstrated project planning/scheduling experience within the Oil & Gas, Mining and/or Resource Sectors. * Proven experience in the usage of Primavera P6. * All round Planning experience including Project and Shutdown is essential. * The ability to develop an integrated plan for project work and to determine all deliverable and resource requirements. * The ability to work accurately within time and budget constraints. * Strong communication skills with ability to interface with engineers and managers. * An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency.
